Hi Sara, what do you do at Creditspring?

I am the Compliance Manager, and I oversee the complaints team.

What did you do before joining Creditspring?

Lots of things! I was a Compliance Manager for Watts Commercial Finance, mainly dealing with mortgages and commercial loans. At Greensill Capital I was a Financial Crime Analyst, dealing with accounts receivables and supply chain financing. I’ve also been a Financial Crime Operations Specialist at Argos Financial services and a Financial Crime Compliance Officer at M&S Bank - both in the Retail Finance sector. On top of my working experience, I have two ICA qualifications in Anti Money Laundering.

What’s changed since you started working at Creditspring?

Since starting at Creditspring almost six months ago it has been a whirlwind. Firstly I have relocated from Chester to London and have been finding my way around a new city. Working for Creditspring is great, as the team and the environment is super supportive. I am trusted to do my work and everyone is encouraged to find better and smarter ways of working. You are not tied down by unnecessary bureaucracy here. The biggest change to my life since joining has been getting a puppy! I made the decision to get my new best friend as Creditspring provides hybrid working, which allows me to have a work-life balance.

What excites you about Creditspring?

Creditspring and the team live by our values and you can see this in the work and products that are produced. The members and offering fairer finance are really at the core of the company. No idea is a silly idea and if it can improve the customer journey or processes it will be implemented.
